Spring Gala

Puffing Billy Railway has decided to postpone the Spring Gala event which was scheduled to take place on 8-9 October, 2011.

Due to a number of unforseen circumstances the event has been postponed to Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 September 2013. 

Plans for the postponed weekend shall remain the same and will include an expanded timetable including vintage trains. The event will also bring many other attractions, visiting engines, 7 ¼ “ and 16mm live steam, as well as static displays. The main display area at Emerald will be the temporary home of a dozen traction engines and steam wagons. Also featured will be Model Railways, Vintage Motor Vehicles, Trade Stands, Visiting Societies as well as Early Bird & Late Bird Photography Sessions to get to those areas not usually accessible.

We are very disappointed that the event could not take place this Spring, however by postponing the event to 2013 we will be able to ensure that steam enthusiasts have a truly memorable experience!
