These Timetables are subject to alteration or cancellation without notice. All trains are steam-hauled unless a diesel locomotive is required in exceptional circumstances, such as Total Fire Ban in the Central Zone of Victoria.
There is no train service on Christmas Day.
Due to the narrow carriage doors on our heritage carriages, only folding type pushers that can be placed under seats can be accommodated on Puffing Billy.
Total Fire Ban Services On declared days of 'Total Fire Ban' in the Central Zone, Puffing Billy steam locomotives will not operate. Diesel Locomotives will operate a reduced timetable.

Passengers travelling to Belgrave via Suburban Trains are advised to check the Metlink Melbourne Website for updated information regarding travel times and changes to regular services.

This timetable operates on days that are declared "Total Fire Ban" days in the central zone of the State of Victoria. Diesels are used in lieu of steam locomotives on these days. Trains do not operate to Gembrook on these days.

In the case of a Total Fire Ban being declared for the whole State of Victoria or the Central Zone between Boxing Day the 26^th December and 6^th January inclusive Puffing Billy will run 4 trips departing Belgrave at 10.30am, 12.20pm, 2.20pm and one extra to enjoy the cooler part of the day departing Belgrave at 4pm travel to Emerald Lakeside arriving at 4.58pm.

The train will depart Lakeside at 5.50pm (this allows time to take a swim or just relax in the cool under the trees). The train will arrive back at Belgrave at 6.40pm. The normal fare will apply.
