Do you want a night out with a difference? Have you tried Puffing Billy's Dinner Special?

The Dinner Special is a wonderful trip aboard Puffing Billy travelling in our First Class enclosed carriages.

• The train departs from Belgrave station at 7.30p.m. Fridays and 7.00p.m. on Saturdays. During the journey savouries are served to guests and pre-dinner drinks are available for purchase in our enclosed carriages
• On arrival at the restored Nobelius Packing Shed at Emerald, guests are seated on tables of 8 and a three course carvery style meal is served. Please see a sample menu below.
•  A range of drinks can be purchased at the Packing Shed.
• Special dietary or vegetarian requirements can be catered for with 72 hours prior notice.
• Entertainment is also provided.
• The return train to Belgrave leaves the Packing Shed at 10.30 p.m. and during this trip cheese and greens, coffee, tea, complimentary port and after dinner chocolates are served.
• The arrival time at Belgrave is around 11.45 p.m.
• The Dinner Special is a non-smoking, non BYO venue.
• We practice the Responsible Serving of Alcoholic Beverages. Accordingly, service and/or travel on the train, either at the commencement of or during the forward or return journey, may be refused to any person who shows signs of excessive intoxication.

 The Dinner Special is also available for private functions (for groups of 60 to 80) on any other evening. Prices:

The price per head is $84.00 including GST.  Full payment is required at time of booking.

Cancellation Policy:

If the booking is cancelled within 21 days of the date of travel, the full amount will be forfeited.
