'Thomas' Online Bookings
Thank you for expressing interest in purchasing tickets via our online booking system for a ‘Day Out With Thomas’. Please read the information below carefully before proceeding to the next stage.
All the activities are held at Puffing Billy’s EMERALD Town Station located in Memorial Avenue, EMERALD (Melway Ref Map 127 E5).

ONLINE BOOKING FARES
Adults and Children (4+): $23.85*
Toddlers (1-3 years): $11.66*
Infants (under 1 year): Free
No student, seniors, companion or pensioner discounts apply.
*An online booking fee (6%) applies by Puffing Billy Railway however no additional charges have been made or will be made by the third party booking system.
To book a TODDLER online please select the CONCESSION ticket option.
Passengers with Special Needs (eg wheel chair access) are recommended to contact Puffing Billy’s Customer Service Centre rather than book online. This way we can determine whether your needs can be accommodated.
Thomas tickets are NOT transferable to other shows nor refundable, except on declared days of TOTAL FIRE BAN in the Central Zone, or the whole state of Victoria, when Thomas events will be cancelled.
Should a day of TOTAL FIRE BAN be declared in the Central Zone, or the whole state of Victoria on the date that you have booked to travel, we will endeavour to notify you by email and phone as soon as possible.
Should Puffing Billy Railway be unable to run this event we will endeavour to transfer your booking to another show taking place that season, however if this is not possible, a full refund will be given. In this instance, we will notify you of the cancellation by email and phone as soon as possible. As a result, we encourage you to provide us with your email address and a mobile telephone number at the time of booking.
Thomas events will NOT be cancelled due to inclement weather.
Tickets for Thomas bookings made 5 working days prior to the selected weekend will be posted out.
Tickets for Thomas booking made within 5 working days of the selected weekend will be available for collection onsite at the Emerald Town Station on the day of the event booking.
Please ensure you arrive at Puffing Billy’s EMERALD Town Station at least 20 minutes prior to your train departure time.
Whilst every attempt is made to honour all bookings, Puffing Billy reserves the right to alter events, timetables, or locomotives without prior notice.
